Management at this company think that being technical geniuses is all that is required for a company to be successful. Yes having technical apptitude plays a big role. But there are other factors: treating your employees properly and working your sales and marketing strategies properly.
They treat employees like ****. Probably the only software company in the history of the world that went public and did not offer stock options to all employees(most of it went to management) . Employees work long hours and are undercompenstated. It is a revolving door working here: New employees are always coming in while at the same time old employees are quitting.
They should be killing their competition. But they do not have a comprehensive marketing strategy. Marketing a sophisticated pricing product is understandably difficult. But change the attitude. It is not about the technology, it is about how much value your product can provide to customers.
