Just so you know, I do think it was a little dumb to sell PHK the day I sold it. Optimal would have been the day before ex-div.


But, I find that buying too much risk is an error that has to be corrected immediately no matter what the cost.


I already sold covered calls on my entire JNK position, so I am very satisfied.


But if I were a different investor, I'd try my best to hold on until at least the day before ex div.
