I misspoke a few weeks ago when I said OTC trades only occur in the pre-mkt or after mkt. Isa Chair showed us a web site that prints all of the trades. I was shocked to see how many of the trades were OTC. I have no idea how much they get long or short or how they can compete with the Specialist. It doesn't look like they could make any money to speak of. I suppose they fill orders for brokers who are not affiliated with The Exchange. I noticed that most of the 100 share trades were on the Cincinnati Exchange (CSE). Perhaps there really are play traders that buy and sell $30 worth of stock at a time. Maybe our paranoid theory's about attempted manipulation don't amount to anything.

I doubt if this discussion will make any of us any money. But at least we can sound smarter.
