I just read and responded to the SA article on PRU. It is incorrect--the writer wants to have it both ways by writing off the remaining unrealized $5.8B loss this quarter but ignoring the fact that the loss has been shrinking from the $13.2B reported a year ago. In my experience, this is typical SA journalism.
I don't have any position in PRU, just don't like this sort of one-sided "analysis". Rating :
