Mgmt had a chance to sell 4 years ago but acquired instead - horrible mistakes that loaded....
What the heck are you smoking. The mergers that Pinnacle has done were smart, real smart. First, the Cavalry. They merged with another local bank with a super footprint. Secondly, the acquisition of Bank of the South and Prime Trust was another good move. Pinnacle has built up several offices in the Knoxville area and continues to grow there. I bet next the will either open a branch or two in Memphis/Bartlett/Germantown area or the will buy up some small boutique bank in that area. With this heavy downturn in the economy ALL bank are suffering but this one is still doing pretty good and I'll buy up stock at under $13.00. They'll get bought up or merge with some outside of Tennessee based bank but not for a few more years.
I really doubt your outlook on this bank.
