In spite of the market today there is some positive news. According to Baker Hughes US land rig counts were up 20 this week. That makes 42 for the month of October. Pattersons October rig count should be pretty good. Their earnings were better than expected. But what else is new. I think they're pegged. I'm anxious to see the third quarter financials and the 10-Q. Oil and natural gas inventories were both up again this week. They are enormous. This tower of dominoes just keeps getting taller in spite of a weak economy. Someday its going to collapse.
