We are seeing a really nice "smart snap" in PPG - and it is out performing the market. This is due to its role as a leading indicator of recovery. It is up 200% since late March, while the broad indexes are up about 180%. This is right on with past recoveries. PPG dives deeper with the cycle and rises earlier, then it kind of fizzles as the market catches up and blows by.

Speaking of blow, if only the recovery proves to be a real recovery and not just a bunch of borrowed Chinese dollars buying economic stimulus heroin for the politico junkies to shoot up our arms. Got a bad case of the Jones? . . . Borrow from your children for health care, more stimulus, and Barracks's super deficits. Why be responsible when the Nancy boys can make you feel good now? Vote for non-free choice and Cap and Tax - that will surely keep things rolling and grow jobs. They have free choice and cap and tax in China you know. I dreamed this in one of my many withdrawal deliriums. Apparently, they also have their eyes on more of our union jobs too. By the way, the only green jobs I heard about are being flushed in the bathrooms of Congress.

Does anyone still sell a nickle bag anymore? Got the shakes, man. Need a stimulus fix after the first $787 billion left me feeling real low, man. I mean real low.



PS. PPG management has been famous for acting like playboys (see 'em at Laurel Valley and hang'n out with their new trophy girlfriends - not bad I might add) and timid snoozers. But, this quasi-utility franchise stock is performing as expected and really does not need brilliant management. Just keep 'em out-a da way! Buy them all the booze and broads they can consume just so long as they don't interfere with the natural economic order. And, no more acquisitions. Give any excess cash to the shareholders or have a party for the management in Los Cabos or do both!
