I think the market has made a clear distinction between the winners and loosers in the banking industry. PNC has been firmly pirched up in the winners camp. This is reflective in the recent runup in the price (as compared to C, BAC, FITB etc) and it does put a nice floor to the stock.

The price will flutuate as VIX goes up, but I'd be surprised if the stock goes below 47-48. With Fed keeping the rates low for the near term, the stock also has some upside...Unless you want to short the stock for a day and want to ride it down a buck or so...don't bother.
