IDTI is PLXT's biggest competitor.
TUN.TO makes RIO interconnect parts (mostly for FSL stuff).
TUN.TO makes PCIe bridges.
RIO is a competitor to PCI.
The RIO market is tiny compared to PCI.

Why it may be important:

It shows IDTI’s commitment to switching.
It gives IDTI PCIe bridges and a complete PCIe solution.
Chip companies are being bought.
IDTI now owns RIO switching.
