i just checked a couple things out.
1.) it came in #28 on Barron's/WSJ earnings surprises out of apx 200 reporting; beat the street by 67%, but with only one analyst.
2.)the 200day/50day chart doesn't look good. at the current rate, the 50d will subtend the 200d (Death Cross) around Jan'10 sometime... unless someone takes notice and brings this stock UP.
3.) PESI is 4th in a small sector of waste mgmt (see YahooFinance Competitors page) and is relatively tiny in an industry not just anyone can enter. it will take some sack for these guys to make this Co. grow, which it did the reverse of earlier this year, selling off 2-3 divisions.
nevertheless, i figure this stock can make someone a little over the next couple weeks once the Qtr results permeate the media, but it won't be stellar
