Big difference, PENX is a gluten and industrial chemical (natural) company first, ethanol second and that was an area that was only recently added.

FWIW I don´t believe in ethanol mandates beyond a 10% additive to replace the old toxic additive, and I think that ethanol is not only hurting results but compounded the PPS slide due to perceptions. The flood hit at a bad time, they should get over that with insurance payments, but industrial chemicals are way down and ethanol is losing money as it has for most. But I am looking to get again into this one if next quarter isn´t a complete disaster, when the economy turns this one could really take off from these levels, their gluten and industrial chemical businesses are solid in a good economy. After a shakeout of ethanol companies, and maybe reduced mandates with a more realistic approach focusing on efficiency, NGV and other proven solutions with economics behind them, their ethanol business might become sustainable as well.
