who paid for that ?
well by golly the shareholders (the owners) of penn (you and me pal)

whos next in line ?

the architects who will shock people with their glorious new designs.

then will come the skuzzball private equity groups who are looking to take their share some how. (remember penn just paid homage to them at a leveraged debt convention

around the same time comes the underwriters of the debt who will make nice commissions for borowing new money for the new buildings. This in addition to the constant restructuring of existing debt, that only benefits these people.

and then later the bond holders who will lend their money at lofty rates.

then will come the well fargos and deutsch's types who will get their share, even though these guys didnt want to go through with the penn buyout.

and then maneagement.
who always seems to get well rewarded, no matter how much penn makes or how much penn loses.

and the shareholders (us)
if penn cant make a profit with 17 facilities, how can they make a profit at 18 ?

so the poor shareholders.
left at the bottom of penns list.
as usual.

hey, but revenues will go up nicely.

sorry, but revenues dont mean jack.

its earnings.

and with a new facility comes 5 new reasons not to make earnings.
