Just 'googling' around to if there has been any recent developments with PDFS.

Didn't really find anything recent, but ran across a promo video for the Common Platform alliance (IBM, Samsung, and Chartered..now part of Globalfoundries). http://www.commonplatform.com/newsroom/m...



One of the guys interviewed is Dr. CS Choi at Samsung. Name sounded familiar, so went back to PDFS press releases. He is the guy quoted in the release here: http://www.pdf.com/news_display.phtml?ne...


I seem to recall that Dr. John is on "call me directly" terms with Mike Cadigan who runs IBM's Microelectronics Group. (not 100% sure on this...) Cadigan is also featured in the promo video.

Sorry about the random post. The msg board seemed a little lonely, so decided to throw something up.

Let's hope PDFS demonstrates good results at Samsung in the coming year. I think this is one of their first deployments of a fully-integrated YA-FDC solution. Proof of value here would be a big deal.
