After sleeping on the events of yesterday (not a good sleep) I am more content this morning when I think about the hiring of the new Director of Marketing and what SHE may bring to the table. If I heard Murphy right on the CC he feels the company is now at a juncture where it can be promoted to both the general public and to other interested parties. I have advocated many times for the company to address itself and it's progress to both the shareholder and the would-be-shareholder and perhaps this is about to begin. This complete news blackout for three months in between quarters does the company no good and alienates those of us who feel excluded from any developments. Hopefully this new gal will inform the business world of new products, new contracts and other deveopments that might wet the appetite of institutional investors down the line. Of course I don't mean airing information that is private or names of new customers/contracts if the involved parties ask for that privacy but a PR that notifies all concerned that indeed we have landed a new client of size or whatever. Is that too much to ask from shareholders like myself who have sufferred thru several years of a "don't ask, don't tell" policy?
