I worked for them out in the GOM. It was pretty much a joke working for the Homa, La. group. Every body in the office was related. Pretty clicky. Give a coonass some authority and its like giving Charles Manson a knife. They shut down the La. offices recently. But now everything is run out of the Houston office. They have some really good people there. The guys from south Texas tend to business and know their stuff.
Pride will make it. They have the a few new builds that should be done next two yrs. They are and will continue to be a mojor player in the deep water.
As for the spin off of Hawk. As long as everything is run out of Houston's office the 250 class rigs will be ok. Just got to get the natural gas prices up.
Pride will be rocking and rolling with the new deep water builds.
