Actually the cash makes these guys an acquisition target for a larger regional from the midwest or mid atlantic with weaker ratios. Buy PBCT and get cash to strengthen your balance sheet while picking up a great deposit base by expanding into the stable northeast. Right now all the banks are gun shy but if things get stable in the markets next year I'm guessing these guys should get acquired by somebody. Too attractive for it not to happen, IMHO.
