My company uses PAYX. If we need to cut costs, I'll suggest just doing PAYX services in-house using some simple software. My point is, PAYX is more of a luxury than a necessity. People can do their own taxes, payroll and administrative duties just like people can iron their own clothes, it's just easier to pay someone else to do it. Well when times are rough (which they most certainly are) you will see more people won't have a choice to be lazy or not, because small-mid size businesses are getting slammed and are having a real hard time turing profits with all the other expenses that they are bogged down with. I am short PAYX because I am betting that more and more people will scale away from this company as they realize that they can do it themselves with a tiny bit of training, effort and at most a software program.
