But that's what you were saying at $17. GS/JPM/RBC would never let PALM slide below the secondary price of $16.25. But they did - in fact, they couldn't care now - they made their money.

You keep referring to PALM's price drop being "on no good reason". How about the sudden realization that Android is a major threat to PALM and the inr=troduction of strong Android-based products at all carriers, including Verizon and Sprint.

And, you keep referring to the general market sell off. There has been no real market sell off. The DOW and NASDAQ are near their highs of the year. It's PALM that has taken the kicking.
