Defense center awards medical contract

The U.S. Defense Supply Center in Philadelphia awarded a $13.5 million health-care contract to OSI Systems Inc., the Hawthorne, Calif., company said today.

OSI will provide patient monitoring systems for the center's medical supplier operations. The equipment will be distributed to all branches of the U.S. armed forces and to other government agencies.
