Safran to buy 81% stake in GE Homeland Protection

LONDON (MarketWatch) -- Safran SA, a maker of aircraft engines and avionics systems, on Friday said it will buy an 81% stake in GE Homeland Protection for $580 million to expand its airport-security operations.
