Earnings-1st QT vs 2nd QT     29-Jul-09 02:09 pm    
1st QT '09 earnings were $1.13 per share...the average of analysts estimates for 2nd QT '09 is $.38 per share..

Oil has gone up significantly since the end of 1st QT...so, why would the estimated earnings for 2nd QT be substantially lower than actual earning for the 1st QT???

Am I missing something?
