I really do not understand this stock. I have 1000 shares and have had it for years, basically looking on it as a safe way to park money in my IRA and get a good interest rate. It still pays a high rate, but the value is down about 25% over the past year. Why is that? Have they given loans to companies that are going bankrupt? I guess the stock repurchase is a judgment by the managers that they can make more buying the stock back, with its high interest rate, than they can by givng more senior loans to corporations.....
