IF the long term NG price is now 5-7 instead of the 8-12 it was thought to be, due to new shale supplies...what does that mean for NRG?

IE electricity competitors (gas) will be have cheaper elec...unless the price of coal falls, NRG's plants are now less profitable, aren't they?

Or am I missing something?

Also with the glut of power, why would NRG want to build a nuke plant? Are a lot of plants shutting down due to age?
