Probably not, i.e. NGD doesn't underperform sector as you try to imply. It actually outperforms, though one may always cherry-pick particular day/week/month when it didn't.
You posted bunch of messages denigrating this stock, but you mentioned no material details: just generalizations and vague ideas that 'some other stocks' perform better. Are you familiar with anything particular, in terms of mining fundamentals?
Naturally, this stock has problem; which one doesn't? Moreover, at this point it doesn't have anything fancy in terms of fundamentals. However, it has name recognition in the sector. It means that, if gold surge continues, then it will be a stock-of-choice for newcomers to the sector.
