Debi91 is right about the early Treadclimbers: The reliability was terrible. I bought one when they were first introduced and had to replace it twice. The third machine, however, has been rock solid reliable for years. Personally, I don't find it overpriced. Its price is comparable to a good treadmill. I've used good treadmills and I personally think the Treadclimber offers a fantastic cardio workout with a lot less joint stress. Being a former long distance runner, I appreciate that a lot. I like the look of the Mobia, but it certainly appears to be just a repackaged TC5000 for a few hundred dollars less. So I wonder how Nautilus will differentiate the products and avoid canabalization. I'm also very curious to know how they intend to market it? I agree that the Commercial division is a dog and should have been dumped a long time ago. They never made money at it. Concerning Bowflex rod-based systems, I have one and love it. It's my understanding that the company still has a retail presence as well as a direct division. The only time they made serious money was with direct marketing, so why not return to those roots? Slash SKU's and stick to a very small portfolio of great products. That, of course, requires some brilliant direct marketing people and I don't have any knowledge of their staff quality.
