Rumors - T-mobile project black      5-Nov-09 01:59 pm

Earlier today we brought you yet more speculation concerning what T-Mobile’s Project

Dark (Project Black) may be (see: T-Mobile Project Black/Project Dark Speculation Continues [New T-Mobile $50 All-In Plan? New T-Mobile 21Mbps HSPA+ Network?]) and, in response to our call for any insider information that someone ‘in the know’ may be able to provide we received a snippet of info that serves to narrow in on what exactly T-Mobile’s Project Dark/Project Black may be.

Obviously, as nothing has been officially confirmed by T-Mobile

at this stage, the following cannot be substantiated, but, having made this clear, there’s no doubt that the following apparent insider information we’ve obtained here at TFTS could transpire to be particularly insightful.

Here’s the communication we received, as is, from an anonymous individual going merely by the name of Mr T (understandably, we’ll be no more specific than that):

All the employees

who received the information were required to sign confidentiality agreements. Each sector has received it at different times, the bulk of them actually received it the 13th, after most of the information was already leaked (Although it’s not entirely accurate…)

That said, the Project Dark is not any ONE thing..its a term for a company TURNAROUND; Last to First is what some like to say. It’s an all inclusive “package” that includes blazing speeds, 3 times faster than anyone will have on the market for years. Phones people actually WANT, using top of the line models from the top 2 cellphone manufacturers in the world (Nokia #1, and Samsung #2). Hot software like Android. And European priced packages.

And all of this will make Verizon, AT&T, and Sprint’s head spin when its released faster than anyone can have time to finishing reading any official press releases.

330 Million in new networks Verizon? Try nearly 10 billion.

Certainly, if this rings true, and there’s no reason to think that this is not worth taking with rather more than just a pinch of salt, its rather more all-encompassing than we initially speculated (we had it down as either a $50 all-in plan or 21Mbps HSPA+ service previously).

Your thoughts welcomed.

[Thanks Mr.T - appreciated]
