Today, Nov. 4th, IS the ex-div date      4-Nov-09 10:25 am
So, WHY IS THE STOCK UP? Stocks usually go down on the ex-div date.

I know some people think the ex-div date is Nov. 6, but that is the record date and ex-div date is two days before the record date, therefore it is today, Nov. 4th. If you still don't believe today is the ex-div date, please refer to the link to the SEC website in another post. http://www.dividend.com/dividend-stocks/...

I'm not complainming, but it is unusual IMO to find the stock going up!!!! So, that is the reason for this post and what I am asking. Anyone know?
