Thus far, Victoza has been marketed for a partial quarter in Denmark, England and Germany.

Germany, a key diabetes market, indicates that the revenue potential for Victoza is good. In less than a full marketing quarter, Victoza has gained 1% market share among all diabetes treatments, and 40% of the GLP-1 market.

A more important potential earning contributor, and a development which has thus far not been mentioned on this board, is the advancement of the two "next generation" insulins, SIBA and SIAC. They have have now entered full phase three clinical trials. These products could potentially hit the market as soon as 2012. Provided that the results meet expectations, a further reshaping of the diabetes market globally may occur.
