Regarding 2 questions from previous posters:

1. Likelihood for Future Electronics to buy NUHC - Future is not going to acquire NUHC because Future does not go to market as a demand creation business model. NUHC goes to market as a demand creation business model which is a much more expensive way to do business. They do serve a purpose, but not for a Future, since Future is more of a catalog company. Future is a true global company, this said, with $4.2 Billion in sales, what if anything does NUHC give them through an acquisitions. Future has all the lines that NUHC has, they have all the customers that NUHC has. The only thing Future does not have is the demand creation business model. Please note - Arrow and Avnet do not have the demand creation business model either.

As for Arrow or Avnet buying NUHC at even a $1 a share - NO.
Its not about the value of NUHC that would make it an enticing acquisitions - Its about Line Cards and politics behind carrying certain non-competitive product lines.

I don't know if NUHC is going to do well? I am not involved in the company and the 2 guys that ran the company (Arthur Nadata and Richard Schuster) were excellent management guys, but they are gone. and even during their time with NUHC, they weren't going to get acquired.

NUHC serves the market well with their demand creation business model, and they may continue to do so for many years to come. In fact, as the economy turns NUHC should do well, however, the small er guys (JACO and All American) are done in the semi space. I only hope for the NUHC employees and shareholders that the new CEO can grow the business.
