Risk = reward. aga devices are easier to place but the aorta erosion cases are alittle scarey. getting nmti's device out if it doesn't fit right isn't straightforward. nothing is perfect. Overall both devices beat CPB and its > 1/200 mortality. The other non occluder type procedures have as yet poor results. How big a market depends on the size of the subset that ultimately gets + prospective results.
