I understand the advantages of SSD over traditional hard drives. It's clear SSD is the future technology of choice. That wasn't the point of my question.
I'm asking why does the STEC version of SSD have any sustainable competitive advantage over the Intel version, and the dozens of other Taiwanese/Japanese/Chinese/Korean clones that are already starting to come onto the market. Rating :
