i would say they make little to none directly on hulu mig. indirectly of course they generate interest in their products. the other advantage is that these sites are killing the pirate sites and funimation can direct traffic to its website where they also stream free episodes and have other cross selling opportunities.

also funimation has download to own options at Amazon, Playstation, XBox, Comcast, Funimation.com and ITunes.
