I was wondering and want some thoughts on this, especially now that NAT has their 18th ship.

I see the daily rates on line, but I wonder if NAT for the sake of keeping their ships moving, if they are discounting rates. You have all the new ships coming online and more competition. Demand is not that high for oil right now.

SO I was thinking if I was NAT, and I had 17 -18 ships I could discount the daily rate. I would be able to afford to do so than a company with less ships and more debt.

Of course this would affect the divident. I see alot of people on here trying to make an educated guess on the divident using the daily rate. But if they are discounting rates then .......

Any thoughts?
