Tex, although your really really old, your arguement doesn't fly. A mouthwash bottle has a warning on the label. It also tells the user what to do incase of accidental injestion. It instructs the user to "seek professional assistance" or "call a poison control center immediately". That's all it would have taken Matrixx to do in order to comply with FDA standards. You yourself are saying that people would not have been injured by this caustic product if they had used it properly. So what your saying is that you agree, that Zicam is dangerous when used improperly. lololol Finally you get it. lololol Bottom line is Matrixx is in trouble because they "neglected" to inform people that improper use could lead to injury. Someone can go out and buy Zicam (well not anymore) and take it home, throw out the packaging, use it once and put the rest in the medicine cabinet. Say they need to use it again in 6 months. Are they supposed to remember EXACTLY how they used it 6 months ago? They could look at the label (not the packaging since it was thrown out 6 months ago) and not see instructions or a warning. The bottle itself looks like an inhaler. The user sees where it says "homeopathic" on it and says well how dangerous could it be since it's a "homeopathic" inhaler. Boom. They use it in good faith since the manufacturer felt it safe enough to NOT put a warning on the label. Chances for misuse have skyrocketed. This scenario has happened repeatedly for nearly a decade. You would think a responsible company would step in and say "I can see that this is a problem". But no. They ignored it. Now, you can go to "ipetitions.com" and type in Zicam and see a list of over 200 people who have been directly or indirectly affected by this "homeopathic" poison. Feel free to sign the petition while your there. Tex, as really really old as you are, you should be able to see the VERY risky and irresponsible path that Matrixx has chosen to take was malicious and foreknowing. And for this they will pay whether you like it or not. Throw all the stones you want because it won't change the facts. That's why this is a STRONG SELL!!!! But being an employee at Matrixx, you already know this.
