meli becomes a global e-commerce player!!!!!!.....invades U.S., EMEA and Asia-pac.

Could it be done??? Absolutely! If I was CEO, I would truly think big about managing meli for the very, very long-term. I would launch into U.S. first. I'd prioritize all heavy latino states first...texas, cali, ny, florida, arizona and new mexico.

market cap run up with successful international expansion would be big. But the battle for market share would be more intense than latam. Latam a cake walk for meli, but would be a battle overseas. It could be done though. ebay started out in u.s. and expanded through acquisitions.

Does meli have the cojones to go global?
Will ebay let them? Would the threat alone cause ebay to pony up boat loads of money for meli? Can meli execute overseas?....damn I am excited to watch this spectacular movie unfold.
