Dew - point taken. I was just offering my thoughts based upon my experience with products from big pharma. I would think that there are discussions that take place with generic manufacturers and the FDA that allow the generic co. to believe with certainty that approval is imminent. The company I work for had a recent product approved. My company reached out to all of the external hires approx. 3 weeks before approval and told them it was okay to move forward with giving notice to their current employers. Essentially, they knew approval was a done deal.
