There were a couple of assertions made by a poster on the IV board regarding the depressed price of MFN given the current POG and favorable PM environment. One assertion is that Mexico is imposing a 5% tax on miners next year- citing the NY Times. The only mention of this tax I can find in the NY Times is an archive abstract of an article from 1895. Other current and very recent mentions of a mining tax talk about the hot debate in Mexico regarding tax reform. They say there is a possibility of a 4% tax (in some form) but it is opposed and hardly a done deal. The other assertion is that Mark Bailey has been "steadily selling shares". Most of the other assertions in the post are common subjects here- undelivered promises, ore grade, problems in the production line, bad 3Q on the way, bad management, etc.

As to the Mexican Tax and the insider selling- I can't verify these. Anybody here have any knowledge of a 5% tax next year that isn't from 1895 and is there any source to indicate CEO steadily selling? Thanks everyone.
