Somewhere in these messages I got the impression that Jeff Gendell/Tontine Partners had a sizeable interest in this bank. I also understand from messages I have read on other company message boards that Tontine Partners is liquidating there hedge funds. Perhaps that has had some impact on the price of this stock. This is just a guess on my part. No doubt being a financial stock doesn't help this stock's price either.

My thought is that as long as they are able to continue to pay a dividend - and they just announced another one - I plan to hold on to my shares for the long haul. I bought my shares at the time of IPO. It wouldn't do me much good to sell them now. But then my investment is a relatively small one compared to others I suspect.
