Read my post about the MOU. Almost all MOUs these days limit a banks ability to pay dividends up to the holding company. So they have to keep cash at the holding company for general corporate purposes and debt payments because UWBK money generating sub United Western Bank can't take money out of the bank. This is why we have bank holding companies because they can limit systematic risk to depositors...

Why do you guys keep listening to these people about how things are going to get better? My short position has been well documented here and I would even short again and more because this thing is gone. There is no equity value. Look at the $60MM in losses in the HTM securities portfolio. Look at the amount of C&D loans. Do you know what these are going for in the market? Well under 50% and they have 2x equity in these loans. This doesn't even include CRE2 exposure.

Wake up guys this storm hasn't even started.
