Simple !!!
It will the remaining 80% - 83% who will propell the economy. The 17% left behind will....wither away into the abyss. In other words, the 17% will find avenues for surviving...theft, robbery, crime etc....and in turn, the rest of us will support more law enforcement... This is not the first time we have had 10% unemployment....and nor will it be the last. BUT..we WILL come out of this as we have even from the ruts of WWII. This is nothing in comparison.
