According to their 10Q, Teva had already saturated the Solodyn market for the rest of this year with its generic forms. This 8K seems like a small victory in a large war that will end with generics in Nov 2011 anyway. Maybe it will clear the way for one good year of Solodyn profits after this year, while they continue developments. Unlike techs, which seek very large punitive damages, Medicis seems to 'forgive' the intruders. It also seems weird that the offenders get approval to market the generics in the first place, knowing that the patent is being violated. Must have something to do with endless legal fees associated with fighting these cases.
