Thanks. As an SGP owner I had found the same pdf doc explaining all of this and it really is pretty confusing for most people, I would think. I'll figure mine out, but I do wonder what my Schwab account is going to end up showing. It should have the right MRK shares and the cash right eventually. But the tax implications are tricky.
