The survey, done by consumer electronics shopping site Retrevo, finds that the typical iPhone owner is a woman whose personal life is highly connected to her iPhone. The typical BlackBerry owner, on the other hand, is a man who cares chiefly that his BlackBerry is well connected to his company's enterprise e-mail system

droid is designed to emulate an iPhone. It will compete with iPhone-types for customers. Few crackberry ppl are going to put up w/ droid's weaknesses.
I agree RIM may face near-term threat b/c it sells to VZ subs & iPhoners aren't going to cancel contracts to switch. But, w/in 6 months, as ppls' contracts expire, isn't it likely that iPhone will see the biggest competitive loss of users?
