0658 GMT [Dow Jones] Nomura lifts Millicom (MICC) target price to $74 from $71 and maintains neutral rating ahead of 3Q earnings next week. Says proceeds from the disposal of the Asian assets have so far been slightly ahead of the bank's forecasts, and it has increased its expected net proceeds to $700M from $600M. Notes the failure of the MTN (MTN.JO)/Bharti (532454.BY) alliance, and the uncertainty surrounding Zain's (ZAIN.KW) transaction, have again raised the level of discussion about other routes into Africa, with Orascom (ORTE.CI) and Millicom featuring prominently.
