1. no utah also has oil, there maybe a lot more NG in utah then oil. but mdu has oil wells in utah.
2. yes gas can be a by product of pumping oil, or it can also be a gas field by its self..( the mdu cedar creek field of SE MT ( se of Baker Mt) and part in sw ND is gas only..

3. you are correct. mdu is also working on expanding the storage capacity of the NG storage facility in baker Mt.
