The 2 MN senators have come out strongly against the 4 BILLION dollar a year tax being proposed by the democratic senate health care committe This tax, if passed, will cause huge job losses in a lot of MN medical device companies as well as a cutback in R&D spending. When it comes down to an actual vote, do any of you democrats working at MDT think that Franken will actually side with the MDT workers and will vote against the bill? I can tell with absolute certainty that Franken will vote for the bill and for the huge tax increase using the usual liberal argument that 'its for the families', etc. The democrats are anti-business. The medical device manufacturers are being unfairly singled out by the democrats. I thought Obama was going to pay for his health care plan by finding waste and fraud. Does anyone remember him saying that? What a crock. Wake up Minnesota and stop voting for anti-business, anti-worker democrats. Unless you are state or federal employee or a union worker, you have no place at the table with this group
