This is total and utter disrespect shown toward the employees by upper management and the board of directors.
This company announced a few weeks ago that no employees were getting raises because the company was cutting costs. The Board of Directors then goes and approves raises for the upper managers after the line employees did not get raises. How does upper management expect employees to continue to work their tails off for the company when BS like this occurs. The large stock holders and funds need to look very hard at the board of directors as it is now composed as they may have just caused the demise of this company. The employees are the ones that have built this company into what it is today. Tom G and his henchmen have never written a line of code in their lives, they have never installed a system or supported the systems that Micros makes. They will claim that they have to pay their executives to keep them but this is not a valid argument when comparing to others in their industry MCRS RADS AGYS PTC NCR CEO 3.54M 875K 610K 460K 2.38M CFO 1.80M 386K 415K 285K 900K NCR had 4 times more revenue than MICROS but there net income was not much better so that may be why their executives did not make better salaries. I can bet on one thing that their CEO is not counting cars in the parking lot or retrieving cell phones from employees. My main point is when the economy turns around Micros is going lose alot of good employees who are tired of putting up with questionable decisions by upper management who treats employees as cattle.
