The open interest in the May 10 MCRI calls is up to 14,000. The buyer seems to be accumulating upwards of 1,000 calls per day. May expiration is this Friday. Is there any news expected between now and then to justify this call buyer and the price he is paying per contract? Today (Tuesday, May 12th), he has paid as much as 0.80 for the May 10 calls with the stock trading $9.90. Plus, the stock has already had a significant run from $4 in early March. Stock price appears to be declining from a peak of $11.00 on May 5th. Could he possibly be expecting an update on the Kerzner litigation. Any thoughts?
