What a bunch of geniuses at MAC. They destroyed a perfectly good mall in Santa Monica, embarked on a multi year construction project during which NO revenue from that site is coming in, and plan to turn it into a super high end Bloomingdales/Nordstrom/expensive restaurant mall -- just as we enter the biggest recession in decades.

And to top it off, they ripped off the roof -- a perfectly good roof -- of the old mall, so now shoppers won't come when it's really hot or cold or raining.

I grew up with the Santa Monica Mall and I really can't wait to see this project fall flat on their face. This company has really bad karma for destroying such a great iconic building and I wish them nothing but failure!!!
