IMHO the punishment to the stock has been way overdome. All interested investors should read through the annual report & judge for themselves, of course. There is no significant maturing debt until 2011. While new borrowings is more difficult to get, MAA should be able to weather the current economoc conditions. I hold the prefered H issue, which has an 8.375 coupon & am looking to add to my position.
